UKPC kicked out of Retail Park

High Wycombe Retail Park, just off the A40 on the east side of town, has around a dozen units, including M&S Food, Argos, PC World, Pizza Hut etc.
The car park had UKPC signage, advertising a 2 hour limit, and patrolled at random times by one of their 'wardens' dressed in a similar uniform to local council CEOs, and issuing official looking windscreen tickets. Whenever I saw one of these on a car, I would slip in one of the Pepipoo flyers.
Today we went to get some stuff, and all the UKPC signage was gone. I asked in a couple of the shops, and it seems that the retailers were getting so fed up with their customers, and staff, receiving the fake fines that they had collectively approached the managing agents and told them 'get rid of these cowboys or else'.
This all happened about a month ago, and surprisingly no Armageddon has yet taken place at this location. There were plenty of available spaces, and everyone was just getting on with their life.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

But Trouser-Fire said it would. I'm confused! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Someone else may be on the way in that will pay a set fee every month.
The market is very competitive with dozens of PPC after each site.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -
Dont be surprised to see some camera poles appear with signs for someone like parking eyeFrom the Plain Language Commission:

The fishing licence will pale into insignificance compared to what they'd lose if a retailer left them with an empty unit.0

This is what happens when PPCs try to squeeze times in order to issue more tickets. Two hours is nowhere near enough time to shop in that number of outlets, which also contain a Gym and a Furniture Village.
I do not know how long UKPC have held the contract, but suspect that it has not been for long as Google Earth show it to be still under construction. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
In common with most retail parks you have to wonder why anyone would want to park there unless they were visiting the stores.0

UKPC used have their signs all over Riverside Retail park on the outskirts of Northampton.
I noticed a few months ago that their signs had gone.
On the few occasions that I have visited since there has never been any difficulty in finding a parking space. I also don't remember there being any problems before their signs appeared.
The park certainly looks more welcoming without odious signs making you feel somewhat undervalued as a paying customer.:j0
