Credit Report and Electoral Roll

Options
Hello people,

I'm after some advice. I moved address about 18 months ago just within the same town. My credit report with Experian says I'm not on the electoral roll at my new address although I was at my old address. The council have confirmed they've updated.

However the address that the council have my house is slightly different from what everyone else uses. I raised this with Experian support and they said it was due to my electoral role having my full name, Timothy, rather than everyone else who use uses Tim. This doesn't make sense to me as my old address everyone used Tim instead of Timothy and my Experian report shows it correct there.

What do you think the problem might be? Could it be the address or my name or something else completely?

Thanks

Tim

It's Timothy but that doesn't explain why I'm listed at my old property.

My property house name on the ER entry on Equifax is very slightly different. It has a space rather than all the same word.

So this shows up as a linked address, not at my address.

Doesn't take much to break the system.

I would like to help you with this one, you've mentioned your Experian Credit Report doesn't appear to have you registered at your new current address but it has been inputted in the correct format.

If you could provide me with your details (name/dob/full address including postal code) and the date from your local council confirmed you're registered at your current address to me by email, I'll gladly look at resolving this for you.

    Kind Regards
