Flights home from Hollywood

Hi guys,

Asking on behalf of a friend.

This summer he is going to Las Vegas for a week, then onto Hollywood.

Would you recommend he books all his flights now? Or books the flight home (London) from Hollywood when he is out there, last minute: Or will it be more expensive?

Thanks in advance

Assuming he's not a US citizen, he might face some difficulty getting entry on arrival in the USA if he doesn't have his return travel booked.
One way flights are generally more expensive than a single leg of a return fight.
He should just book an open jaw ticket, into LAS, out of LAX.
Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

For Hollywood he'll need to look for flights from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Apologies if that's obvious.

If he can't find an open jaw option, try looking for "multi-city" or similar wording.

If he plans to rent a car in Las Vegas and drive it to Los Angeles, then booking through a UK agency might avoid a one-way rental drop-off fee (that principle applies between any two cities in Nevada, California and Arizona, but not usually to other states).

I t s time your friend removed his finger from his rear orifice.

I'd recommend that he bookmarks google flight search and inputs his flights for his chosen trip (as a multi destination flight). Then save that trip as a favourite. Now all he needs to do is logon 2 or 3 times a day and watch the price fluctuate on a daily basis.
When he finds a fare that he's happy with, buy it.

Using the method you allude to in post #1 is a very expensive way of doing things.
