Strange request?

I've had a message through eBay from a prospective buyer who wants to buy an item from me. They have said they are local to me so want to collect the item and have asked for quite a chunk of money off if they do collect. This is not the strange part though... They have also requested to 'look through' my other items in person to see if there is anything else they want to buy, that are similar to the item they definitely want to buy. Everything I have available to sell is already listed on the same eBay account for him to see. I have to admit I am slightly nervous about having someone browsing through my sale items in my own home. If they were just wanting to collect the one item they definitely want it could all be done on the doorstep and j wouldn't feel quite as uncomfortable. I guess I like the anonymity provided by posting stuff to buyers.
I really don't know how to respond to this Buyer! Any thoughts or suggestions would be very welcome. TIA.

I'd respond saying you aren't prepared to give such a big discount and are happy to wait for bids. You then avoid getting into difficult discussions but hopefully also make them less likely to buy.0

I would wish them luck in the bidding and leave it at that.

If they want to buy item x, you can tell them you will have it available at the address for collection. As for the other items, you can say they are in a safe storage unit, so not available to view when collecting..0

Also, point-out that the winning bid (if they are the ones who placed it) is what they are contracted to pay. No discounts will be applied.
I'm sure ebay is getting full of idiots these days.Never Knowingly Understood.

They are time wasters who will offer you a lot less for the other items too.0

I had a similar thing. A big I am who wanted all the items for next to nothing. They told me I would be lucky to sell them. They sold for far more than they offered.
Personally I would block them. Either you pay the price or you don't. Do not be bullied into accepting a lower price than you want to.0 -
Also, you can easily say you don't have anything else for sale apart from the listed items on your account currently.ally.0
