Ryanair - unable to check in online as booking locked - avoiding £70 fee

This is just a quick bit of advice.

I have booked a return flight with Ryanair departing tomorrow (no other airline flies to that destination!) - went to check in online and made the mistake (i.e. its caused a lot of hassle) of booking my car parking as part of the process.

Got a brief on screen message saying there was a payment issue - but still got a confirmation email with the payment added and have checked with my bank and the payment has gone through although the separate parking confirmation has still not arrived (although that can apparently take 24 hours!)

Since I did this yesterday I have been unable to access my booking at all - as it says there is an outstanding payment due - so cannot check in online.

i rang their reservations - and they agree the payment has gone through fine but my booking is still blocked.

Now if I don't check in on line I face a £70 fee per person on the booking (so potentially £280 for the return flight) - all because their booking system is blocking me from accessing the flights paid for.

Now I will keep trying - but what are my rights to avoid the airport check in fee if I cannot access my booking online due to failures on their part.

Lesson learned - but its appalling that a booking separate to your actual flight can prevent you being able to check in.

Have finally got this sorted - so apologies for troubling people on here.

But for 18 hours I was unable to access my booking to check in - so be careful of booking last minute changes on the Ryanair site if you flight is imminent. Their call centre opening hours are 6am to 7pm - and 9 to 6pm on weekends - so any problems outside those hours and you can get nothing resolved.
