    Hi
I've been given a priority code from a friend who isn't using hers. Our family plus two other families are wantning to book the same holiday for us all to go together. So we want three caravans on haven presthaven, 28th aug. Will I be able to book all three, on behalf of the other two families, using the one priority code. Or will they need a code each and have to book themselves? Meaning we have to find another two codes and will all have to be on the phone to each other when booking to make sure we all get the same one.
And when exactly does the booking for those with priority codes open on the 17th?
I've only booked these sun holidays once before and my friend talked me through it, that was two years ago so I'm slightly new to all of this.

Thanks in advance for your help x

You can use the code multiple times so can book all 3. However you need to select 4 parks and 4 dates, so you may not get your first choice. Also once you've done the first booking there is no guarantee that there will be the same availability for the second and third booking so a risk you could end up on different parks and/or different dates. The only safe way to ensure you all get booked together is with a paper form, but then you are less likely to get your first choice anyway.

Does anyone on here still try to crack the code the day before like they used to? Not seen anything posted this time

The code cracking used to work well when the codes were always words, as there was a finite number of possibilities. However, more recently the final code is a random 4 digit alphanumeric combination, so there are 1.7 million possible options which makes it virtually impossible to crack the code.

Some people can get their hands on the newspaper quite early, last time we knew the final codeword before the booking site had even opened.

Hi does anyone have any tips on how to book These holidays in groups as me and my sister would like to take our families to the same park at the same time but as there are only 3 school holiday dates available (4days) I can see it being very popular any tips welcome thanks

    See post #54 above.
If you don't have a priority code you could consider joining Sun+ to get in early before general bookings open, but there would still be no guarantee that you would get the same allocation for both bookings.

Yes I'd always thought that myself about number & letter combinations but then I remember seeing that the code PS61 was cracked by someone on the forum last year, so just wondered if people still take part in the code cracking.
Not sure if the cracking will be attempted but I'm sure we'll all be up anyway in anticipation of when we can get booked up.
I'm with Sun perks now as well as priority so will be trying both booking offices.

Great. I'm going to join Sun perks today/tomorrow for the Alton Towers passes so will be trying both too. I'll actually be on a Sun holiday when the booking site is due to open so can see me being very tired when I check out Friday morning!

My brother had priority in the last promotion, he reserved his holiday and used another computer to log in and attempt to book the same holiday dates at the same park for my parents :rotfl: there was no availabilty so he had to wait the 10 mins on his holiday booking and swap dates. Although availaibilty at one park there was only 1. It was funny as they were on the phone at 1am trying to book 2 caravans for the same date and park. Eventually they found one all together but it was comical, and a faff.
