What can I do with 8oz of MELTED butter?

Actually it's about 6oz butter and 2 oz marg.
I was trying to soften it for a cake mixture and put it in the microwave on the defrost setting but I pressed 10 MINUTES instead of 10 SECONDS. It was in there only about 45sec when I realised something wasn't quite right but it was still too liquid for a cake mixture (it didn't boil though).
Any ideas on how to use it up?
I guess even when it solidifies it won't be suitable for me to make buttercream icing will it?

Oops! I'd be tempted to let it set a bit and still put it in the cake mix.I have plenty of willpower - it's won't power I need.

yes, I would give it a go too. Just ensure you cream the butter and sugar together really well:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

Too late.
The cake is already baking in the oven!
Any other suggestion for the melted butter?"Finish each day And be done with it.

Another cake? Substitute 2oz cocoa powder for 2oz flour plus 1-2tsp vanilla essence this time.:DI have plenty of willpower - it's won't power I need.

Flapjacks? If you've got any oats and golden syrup, just combine with the melted butter and stick in the oven.
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

It'll be fine for sauteeing - softening onions, other veg or browning meat in a frying pan.
Or -garlic butter for garlic bread or on prawns0 -
twinks hob nobs!!!!!- prior planning prevents poor performance!
