Estimated Delivery 30th - not recd yet

Hi, haven't used ebay for a while, but bought 3 BIN Items from same seller on 29/3/15

Estimated delivery was 30/3/15 but being realistic it was the weekend, but it is now 2/4/15 and they have still not arrived.

Want to contact the sellar but don't want to open a case or have them with a mark against them just yet.

How do I go about this without giving them a mark against their account?
Looking forward to the day I have nothing left to list on eBay

Choose the option 'other' to contact the seller and it will be fine.

However, eBay estimates are wildly optimistic, my stuff is often estimated to arrive before I even have to technically have posted it.

Yeah, have given them the benefit of the doubt but it does state next day delivery. I have just looked at my purchase list and the icon states "not posted yet"

Have noticed they changed all the prices on 1/4/15.

Also look at no of days for dispatch.

I always use 2 days for dispatch to cover me for ebay delivery dates.

Next day delivery could be argued as next day after dispatch!

If you bought the item on 29th, earliest the seller could post would be 30th. Unless 1st class, it takes around 3 days. Did seller mark it as dispatched? May be you can figure out from there?

Not strictly true, often business sellers have a daily courier pickup, process orders same day and send items out same day - just depends on the individual seller.

Ooops, actually bought on 28.3.15 but late in the pm

Correct, or so what I thought

    States Royal Mail 24

Did seller mark it as dispatched?

Just checked - Still hasn't marked as dispatched

May be you can figure out from there?

Sent them a message and received no reply as yet[/QUOTE]

    Is something funny going on?

  • I have sent 2 messages, and 1 e-mail - still no reply, and items have not been marked as despatched, although on 1.4.15 prices went up!?! so someone is around on ebay account.

I really need this order but don't want to end up with double if I order from another company.

How long do I have to give them to despatch my items?

You can only open an INR case when you get past the last expected delivery date, so you have to give them until then really

When did you contact the seller ? If it was anytime from Thursday PM onwards, I wouldn't expect a reply over the Bank Holiday weekend
