Cash transfer from barclaycard

Just received a letter from barclaycard money transfer till jan 2016 at 1.6% not bad if you need a short term loan. Could even put it in my santander 123 acc and earn a bit of intrest

9 months interest from Santander 123 will be £18 to a basic rate taxpayer.
Given the risk of product overhaul from Santander I'm not sure I'd bother. Perhaps look to TSB.0
