Was just chatting to MIL who says her fella's CA went in the bank today. They got it on Monday 30th, so assume todays payment is due to the bank holiday?
Normally I thought it would have gone in on the Friday or Saturday as Good Friday isn't technically a bank holiday is it?

According to gov.uk Friday is a Bank Holiday. (and that's what the woman told me on the phone when I phoned ESA on Tuesday)
I am not affected; but they do tend to pay early if your payment date falls on a bank holiday.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

I receive my CA weekly, in cash from the Post Office. It is due in on Mondays. I also receive my child tax credits weekly and that is due on Wednesdays. I usually collect both together on Wednesday or Thursday. When I went to the PO earlier, there was more money than I was expecting. It turned out to be the CA paid today, as both Friday and Monday are Bank Holidays.0
