Try peeling back a corner then aiming a handheld steamer at the gap, you'll discover in seconds if this will loosen the film to enable you to peel it all off..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

I have the sort you use for applying polyfiller (don't know what they're called).
this is the type that takes a stanley blade, used for scraping paint from windows,
you don't want to use this type.0 -
Once you've removed the film, WD40 sprayed on a piece of kitchen towel & then rubbed on the glass will also remove any sticky residue.
Poundland sell it.0 -
Just wondered if cellulose cleaner might work. It's good at removing paint but be careful using it because it can burn skin.0

Using a steamer on a glass window could shatter / crack it through thermal shock .... as well as getting burnt !You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0

If it is the static cling type it should just peel away cleanly. If it is the adhesive type it will be more difficult i should imagine.
Try peeling a corner off and see......0 -
is the film on the glass for safety, to stop kiddies falling and breaking the glass on the doors?0
