Carrie - That must be an interesting one to try & manage. Is he the only creative one in his family? Perhaps thats where the conditioning comes from subconciously. That he feels he chose something he loves, but 'should' be doing something financially rewarding.
So, unfortunately, I didnt get the filming work. Big sigh. The email came through this afternoon. It would have been amazing. But I am looking at it as a great thing that it even happened. They felt in the end the space wasnt big enough. So nothing I could have done about that. Hopefully there will be more opportunies.
I am off for a soak. My answer to everthing at the moment!

Bob Sorry to hear the filming people didn't think it would be a suitable location this time.
Regarding your tips Bob are you using them for something specific or just adding them to your normal spending, if you're not comfortable answer this please don't, I'm just curious.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Hi all,
Not a lot of money saving here today, but here is the list:
*Saved £2 at Thornton's on nephews' Easter eggs.
*Still using up freezer stash, so homemade lemon basil & chilli pesto pasta for dinner.
*Potted up several trays of baby flower plants, plus peppers.
*Sowed leeks.
*Sorted out some plants for giving as Easter gifts.
*Did meal plans & finalised Easter baking plans.
*Wrote shopping list.
*Cat has been recruited onto testing panel. Free food on its way!
*Mr f discovered he could purchase £280's worth of software for £20 from work.
*Had planned to cook lamb over Easter, but went in the Co-op for a small baking item today & found very large piece of beef for £10, so bought that instead as looks like it will do several meals.
*Posted 2 eBay parcels.
Have planned a lovely baking day for tomorrow, which is just as well, as the weather forecast looks like one massive p***down.
Bob- Sorry you didn't get the filming contract. It would have been useful money, I know.

Bob, sorry it didn't happen this time but your cafe must be lovely for them to have even considered it
(Unless it was The Apprentice and they wanted it for the losing team, then not quite so nice:eek::rotfl: )
Carrie, I think we all do a bit of that projecting thing (is that what it is?) I remember reading once that if you imagine what people would say about you when you walk out of the room then that is what you really think of yourself. I try it now and again, some times I'm nicer to myself than others!
Today I had porridge from my work store drawer but spent £2.50 on a sandwich and multipack of crisps for lunch. I forgot to bring the rest of the bag home but they'll still be there after Easter.
I've just made some cheese straws using a reduced roll of ready made puff pastry (just waiting for them to cool.) I've never used the ready made stuff before (seriously, how hard is it to make pastry?) but they look really good and they seem to always have that stuff in the reduced section so I will buy more the next time I see it.
The buyer came to collect the X box and I have shared the money out between myself, DH and DS so everyone has a little extra for Easter though mine will go in the bank
DH is rehearsing tonight, I plan to try to find the end of the Kite Runner on youtube as I missed the last 15 minutes going to pick up my son.
I'm really looking forward to sleeping late tomorrow. Have a great weekend everyoneMake £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
