Incorrect poi payouts call

Hello I had a call the other day from a company saying that the PPI I had claimed from a couple of loans may not of been the full amounts and that this is common place. Has anyone got experience of asking a company's/bank if they should of been paid more?

If you've not been paid a full refund it's only going to be for two reasons:
1) The offer made to you was a comparative redress offer, where they deducted what you would have paid for a regular premium policy instead of a single premium one. This only applies to loans. If this is the case then your offer letter would have explained this and you would have accepted the offer as a settlement. Therefore, you cannot now go back and ask for anything more.
2) (less likely) there is a possibility that they may have made an error with the calculation of a full redress offer. If this is the case then they will be reviewing the matter themselves and will contact you to advise. If it is not then they won't. Either way you certainly don't need to have anything to do with the cold callers. They are getting desperate now and ever more creative with their lies.0 -
It is a pity they telephone. That prevents you spotting the giveaway sign that they are lying.Insider101 wrote: »They are getting desperate now and ever more creative with their lies.
If they are there in front of you, it is obvious - their lips move.0
