How Much Gas Per Day - 2 Bedroom Flat
Good evening all,
I recently looked at my energy consumption (Gas) on the Scottish Power website to see how much we are using daily, as you can see it's a bit all over the place and probably not accurate:

So I thought I would see how much we use on an average day by checking the meter myself. From 5.30pm yesterday until 8pm today we used roughly 40kwh. This is having the heating turned on from approx 5.30pm - 10pm last night and 5.30pm - 8pm tonight. Hot water from 3 showers between me and my partner and also two meals cooked on the hob.
Does 40kwh sound about right for the use we've had or does it seem slightly higher than normal? Googling seems to show various results from some people using over 100kwh per day to others using 50kwh a month!
Thanks in advance for any help.

It does not seem higher than normal. 40 kWh is less than two hours of your boiler going full blast. You got seven hours use from that. If it has kept you warm then that's about a pound a day.0
