Did anybody find that helpful???
Not really Rich - perhaps rafter will come and explain how this helps lisa.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

It helps Lisa because it points out that even after deducting all essential spend, she will still only have to pay over roughly 2/3 of what is left as an income payments order.
The other third she can use for gifts/ presents etc which is why these arent included in the essential spend.
I apologise if I came across as being harsh, but if I was owed a lot of money by someone and found out they were allowed to spend a lot of money on gifts before repaying me a fraction of what I'm owed I think I'd be annoyed.
Lisa is allowed a basic holiday, allowed to ensure her family are provided for with accommodation, food, clothing etc and is allowed to keep around 1/3 of whatever is left over to spend as she wishes.
My main advice was to ensure she has claimed for everything possible and hasn't underestimated.
Anyway. Lisa, good luck. Hope the OR settles on a number that is fair for you and hope you can tuck enough away to afford presents for your kids.
R.Smile, it makes people wonder what you have been up to.

Hi Rafter, and others, I read this line more often but is there a list somewhere which states what you can claim and amounts (estimates)? Not to necessary bulk the amount up, but sometimes there are things that you just know they will not accept but are very important to you..0
