Noisy toilet when flushing

Options
I'm hoping you good people can come to my rescue.

For a while now the toilet has been making an awful row when its flushed - I believe it's caused by an airlock but don't know what to do to put it right.
The shower (cold fill) wash basin and cold bath tap (and all downstairs)are unaffected.

Please can anyone tell me what to do?

Try changing the rubber washer in the ball valve. If you cant find a washer that will fit try changing the valve, they are only a few quid.

Sorry to but in, but we have a noisy toilet too!

It occasionally makes a noise when you flush it alone, but if any other water outlets are open at the same time, it makes an awful noise. Really annoying as you have to wait for it to fill up before you can wash your hands.

Will replacing the valve stop this?

It's definitely just that toilet causing the problem, as I've tried various combinations using the other taps and toilet and can't replicate the noise.
Here I go again on my own....
