Lidl Suddenly similar to Chanel Madamoiselle £1.99

I have worn Cotys l'aimant perfume from Boots chemist approx £10 for 30ml for the last 40 years.. At christmas my husband bought me a bottle of Chanel number 5 and I can only tell you that they are absolutely identical. Doesn't last as long though.

I did some research on the Internet and apparently Coty deliberately copied Chanel number 5, at first Coco Chanel was annoyed by this but eventually it drove up sales of her own perfume so she didn't care.

We did a blind test in work with the original coco mademoiselle and lidl's version. First point mademoiselle is a lot stronger than the lidl's version,on application, but after a 12 hour night shift the nurses compared it again and it was Lidl's that prevailed.

It seems to smell the same to start with but after a while the L!dl perfume has a strange smell.

I've found that Pure Blush from New Look's new perfume range smells just like Coco Mademoiselle too.

Oh you little star...I bought some last week and have been racking my brains over this...as it smelt so familiar to something else and just couldn't think what is was......thankyou xx

It was a half-price offer last weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 4 and 5 April). So £3.99 now.

Last year they were included in the half price weekends four times. Sometimes they are included in a 2 for £7 deal for occasions such as Mothers Day or Valentines Day.
