Collect Plus lose my iPhone and only cover 50 pounds

Sixth Anniversary Combo Breaker
in Overseas holidays & travel planning
Previously I have sold my spare iPhone on eBay and I posted it via Collect Plus. The tracking number is 8K9M11362070A045. But Collect Plus has lost the item and they said according to eBay regulations, they can only cover 50 pounds for this. So I have to pay extra hundreds pounds by myself to refund the customer. It is crazy.

DO NOT use Collect Plus since they lose (STEAL I suspect) items !!!!

    I am afraid if you send something that valuable, then you really need to use a service that carries insurance to cover any potential loss.

    The £50 compensation has nothing to do with Ebay, it is in Collect Plus's terms and conditions.

    In future use something like RM Special Delivery for things worth hundreds.

    Collect+ allow you to choose up to £300 of insurance on the parcel. What level did you select?
