I use this recipe from bbc good food http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/9061/ham-and-leek-cobbler
I bake it in a large dish, with individual scones on the top. It's a favourite in our family.£1000 Emergency Fund #175 - £598/£1000

Parsnips - didn't get this week as have a couple left and don't eat them as much as other veg.
Leeks - Brought a pack will use with some potato in mash and may make a lasagne with leeks instead of pasta (Hairy Bikers diet book) if not will freeze
Snack Pack Grapes - Brought a large punnet as Grand children always eating them when they come.
Mange tout - didn't buy these
Carrots - Brought one bag as already have half a bag in still. Will use some with the roast lamb for Easter Sunday. I add carrots to lots of things plus love them raw so will not be wasted.

I'm really excited by the latest super 6. I'm not sure when it was updated as it's just come through on my phone but I am going at the weekend and will be buying these by the boat load as I love the lot.
Butternut squash - 49p each
Green beans - 49p 220g
Button mushroom same
Sweet potatoes 49p 750g
Pineapple 49p each
Funsize pairs 49p per pack (up to 10 in pack).
The squash will be used in soups to help my diet - googling recipes as we speak. Also will be roasted as side for a pork dish I think. Potatoes the same.
Green beans will be as side veg/stir fries - I don't think these are cheap enough to blanch and freeze?
Mushrooms as per beans, though I use these in everything.
Pineapple and pears will provide the fruit for the week plus go into some curries. I quite fancy roasting pears too. Excited.Debt - CCV £3792

Butternut squash keeps for AGES when stored in a cool dry place. I'm lucky I have a cellar so will be stocking up with a few butternuts to last me a good couple of months
