To Keep My Unused CCs?

I currently have a number of credit cards but I only have a small balance on one of them. The collective amount available to spend on all of the cards is well over £30k. Is it better for my credit rating to simply get rid of the cards I'm not using or hold onto them with £0 balance? Similarly, if I do keep the cards is it better to reduce my credit limits or keep the high levels of available balance?

Would probably be sensible to cut it down to perhaps 3 cards. But ultimately depends on your income and need for future credit.

how many do you have, flyingphats, and who are they with?
my thoughts will very much depend upon who they are with, and whether you are interested in channeling your spending via your credit card(s) and whether you are interested in stoozing..
