I Have read the Newbie section. CEL

hello.

first of all thank you for taking the time to read this.

i have just opened a letter today and it is a parking charge notice .
it has my reg and a picture of the dash of my car but i cannot make out what bay i am in.

Parked in a disabled bay without a valid badge.

when i read this at first i thought it was a joke i would never park in a disabled parking bay,
I could swear down on my little boys life that i was parking in a parent and child bay i go to the Tesco's at least once a week and i swear i parked in the same place,

I am just wondering if i have a leg to stand on as i believe that £60 doesn't fairly reflect an honest mistake.

Once again thank you for your time.

I suggest you read again the NEWBIES sticky.

CEL are a bunch of shysters. (They're up on criminal charges in Scotland). Just follow the standard advice.

If you've read the Newbies thread you know that charges must represent a GPEOL. I bet your ticket doesn't.

And CEL tickets don't meet the second condition for keeper liability so they lose at POPLA against keepers who point that out.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
