Littlewoods Credit Rejection

Hi!

I've recently moved home and though I have a good job, I'm not the best when it comes to saving and wanted to apply for a Littlewoods catalogue so I could pay off a dishwasher over the course of a year, interest free.

I have been unsuccessful and was given the following message when trying to purchase the dishwasher on credit "Sorry but your application for a credit account has been unsuccessful as we cannot locate your address on our system".

I'm a little confused; the house is not a new build and nor is my previous address that I gave them.

Ideas?
Thanks,
Jo.

Is your address correct on experian, noddle ?
Are you on the electoral roll ?

You say recently moved, how recent ?
  • Hiya,

I have just registered (a matter of days) to this address I'm currently at (moved 3 weeks ago). I was registered at the previous address (I was there for 4 years).

    It's a little confusing.

    Thanks

It takes a while for it to change, in the meantime get saving.

Go for Very rather than Littlewoods. Same company but Very's usually quite bit cheaper.
