Parking eye charge notice

Hi there,
I am new to this forum and just got the first Parking charge notice from Parking Eye.
I was at Warrington Morison's (I live in York but visiting friends) which the signs say that is aloud free parking for the first two hours, I never read the small printing about the charge of £85 if gone over that. I took the dog for a long walk and didn't even go shopping there so I can't say I have receipts for being there. I thought it will be staff from Morrisons checking the car park and because it wasn't busy thought they will be tolerant.
Bigest problem is that I did the same the following week so it might be another letter coming soon.
Reading the newbies guide I can't make my mind if I have to ignore them altogether or appeal to both, what reason to I give for being there though if I haven't got any receipts from the shops?
Any help will be appreciated.
Many thanks
Andy

parking eye will have used ANPR , they are a nasty company , so you do need to appeal both but separately , read the newbies topic at the top of this forum page or download the info from the parking pranksters page http://www.parking-prankster.com/court-claim.html , its worth a cup of coffee0

Thank you. No notice was from Parking eye directly. Wouldn't it be weird though fighting two cases with a week difference?0

the camera would have photographed you entering and then leaving and worked out the time difference.
if it was greater tha the allowed time , it would have triggered there system , and sent you an invoice,
did the ticket thru the post not show photos?
if no photos , was it actually ParkingEye Limited
PO Box 565
Chorley

It did yes with time of arrival and leaving, expecting the second one next week now. Is there a chance that these never reach the court?

parking eye are nasty and will try for court , however you can beat them easily , read the newbies thread , then type parking eye in the search box for sample appeal letters
treat both tickets separately ,0
