Cifas - can I get ANY credit?

    Also ed-1, i have read the cifas members list in the past and EVERYONE is on the list. Can you find anyone who isn't

    I will even pay someone to help me, maybe a solicitor who can help remove the marker?

    Do you have anything to prove what you say happened ?
    If not then you can't get it removed, even you did have proof it may not be possible to get it removed.

    I wouldn't bother with a solicitor, save that money instead.

    No thats the thing, i have no proof other than my word and a bank transfer transactin for £2000 to the broker (who i have since found out wasnt regulated)

    Isn't CIFAS category 4 application fraud (facility refused)?

    With regards non-CIFAS members, I can't think of any that offer current accounts (other than credit unions) but for loans/mortgages there are several building societies (shame YBS isn't one!) such as Chorley for example.

    Did Lloyds apply instant closure or give you notice of closure out of interest?

    I don't see how a solicitor would help then. All I can suggest is what I last said.

    Yes cat 4 facilty refused
    I may look into a credit union then, thanks for that. And yes lloyds instantly closed my accounts, no notice whatsoever

    Isn't CIFAS great! An effectively unregulated blacklist that can cause innocent people to be 100% financially shafted. I bet in itself it's a cause of fraud!
