The view has been confirmed that the operator must justify the pre-estimate of loss not the driver, so how does this affect the IAS.

The Minutes won't be agreed and signed off until the next meeting, whenever that is, (so maybe June 2015).

The BPA had declined the Board’s request for further funding due to the pressures it was experiencing from AOS members defecting to the IPC scheme which did not have an Independent Scrutiny arrangement.

DFT officials indicated that they would respond to evidence that there were problems with parking appeals services but at present they were not aware that there were such problems.

That's about right for the DFT - they do the same thing when Stagecoach Buses start buying up their competitors to create a monopoly... :rotfl:

stagecoach tried that in Preston , we had a "bus war" until stagecoach bought the local lot out for coppers , however North West Traffic Commissioner stuck there nose in and made them sell out
