Due to circumstances I've left purchasing suncream until 2 days before we travel.

Where is cheap? but ok, to buy factor 30 suncream?

And midge repellent?

Pop into Boots to get an offer on them, thats what I did.

RE: repellent, the hotel you're staying should have some for you, if not Boots is your best bet, or Wilkinson?

Lots of offers at the moment on most brands, probably last year's stock. Look in supermarkets, Superdrug etc. Superdrug has 2 for 1 even on high end brands.


Aldi sun cream is cheap and to be recommended but not sure if it's in stock yet. Fortunately mozzies don't like me but my DH swears by the repellent wipes (also Aldi).

Home Bargains if you have one near you.

The Aldi cream is excellent but if you want branded products, Home Bargains usually has Piz Buin and Ambre Solaire around a fiver.

Boots has suncream and after sun with insect repleant in it,I think its called Soltan
