    No missed isn't particularly relevant. The size of the debt is. If you were to downsize to release equity to clear the debt you'd get a better reception.

    The other alternative is to consider secured loan lenders. Not as low interest rates as mortgage lenders but debt consolidation is more there market. Not a recommended route. As puts your home at risk.
