Driveway [Block Paving]

Hello,
Can some helpful soul give me a few thoughts on how to best solve this dilemma...
We have dug out and now back filled our driveway in preparation for block paving. However, the question is:
1. Is it best to DIY or call in an expert
a. If expert, where does one find one that just lays block paving?
b. If DIY, what's the best way to go about acquiring the materials and machinery?
Thoughts on how we can complete the project at minimal cost would be appreciated.
