Time to send some examples of how they have "dealt" with complaints to Mr Pickles then.
Particularly the ones involving Disabled people who requested an adjustment for the crime of disability.

And this: 'But our calls have seemingly fallen on deaf ears.'

Surely not? For a particularly bad case of lost Hearing yesterday, try errrcantthinkofone.
Perhaps the owners of the deaf ears into which they had been pouring their particularly oleaginous nostrum all these years have woken up to the fact that the BPA's "calls" were nothing more than the siren voices of the self-obsessed and self interested.

And it seem it is the BPA that have become aurally challenged for, as another poster put it yesterday, there seems to be the distinct sound of chickens coming home to roost.

Along with the crashing of toys to the floor having been ejected from their pram and pathetic wailing from Perrymount Road that the IPC have nicked their ball...
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

  • I thought with the probation thing , they were supposed to be SEEN by a probation officer , and asked questions , in order to check they were conforming with the probation

Conveniently forgetting about PATAS who have been hearing appeals on parking tickets for years beforehand and still do.

But why let the truth get in the way of a rant?

Evidently it has entirely eluded the BPA Ltd. that (i) the government expected them to regulate the "sector"

Rather like the B.M.A. and the Bar Council perhaps.

The BMA is a trade union. The GMC is the independent regulatory body for doctors.

PATAS is also transparent with the adjudications on all cases available for scrutiny.

Only in the Kafkaesque world inhabited by the private parking "industry" could the age-old principle of privity of contract be regarded as a "loophole" that needed closing.

Perverting contract law for the purposes of profit is the maggot at the heart of the the rotten apple that is the PPC 'industry'.

All professional bodies publish the outcomes of complaints. The BPA publish a secret list merely claiming to have issued a sanction.

Furthermore they claim 10 points gets you a suspension yet one company has racked up over 10. I hear no news of any suspensions though.
  • there are no sanctions , only people who have left have bailed to the cowshed when written too
