how many of these accounts are we allowed? I read it used to be 3. I was creating a donor account and must have applied for a rewards account - so I now have 2. Im thinking if this is allowed I might actually keep it for the free £10 you can make.
using this donor for FD switch incentive. FD application was successful, does the switch need to be done over the phone? There is a section on their site which appears to advertise being able to do this online however it just brings up the current account application form again.
Ive heard their document verification process is a bit of a hoop and that the easiest way is a tax statement. Can these be requested from GOV web or again with the phone?

They may be able to verify you electronically and not need any additional proof of ID at all.
To request a tax coding notice, contact HMRC: https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/hm-revenue-customs/contact/income-tax-enquiries-for-individuals-pensioners-and-employees
Not sure how long they take to send you a notice. Mine always arrives automatically.0 -
Regards the switching process does anyone have experience having done it? Must it be a phone call?
Any thoughts on what to do with the second rewards account?0 -

Firstly, keep quiet!Any thoughts on what to do with the second rewards account?
And secondly, delete any reference to it on here (others responding will do the same I imagine).
And thirdly, when you find other 'possibilities' (and there are a good few around!), don't go public...otherwise, and especially if broadcasted on MSE, they won't be 'possibilities' for long!0 -
In the case of a joint Halifax Reward Account, am I right to assume that only 1 x £5.00 will be earned per month ? In other words as a joint account you don't get £10 ??0
-
Yes, 1 x £5 for a joint acct0
