Just tried ringing and can't get through... Sigh. Will have to try a little later.0

DON'T RING. Communicate by letter only. This leaves a solid paper trail should it get to the point where it ends-up in Court.
Send the letter before action as stated in an earlier post, then follow-up the threat once 7 days have passed.
Don't forget that with money owed to you, I believe that you can claim interest for each month they are late paying you at the rate of 8% apr.Never Knowingly Understood.

They also need to get the company name absolutely correct in legal cases, having now been told numerous times what to do..
It was also explained on a documentary called Low Paid Britain, aired only earlier this year, just the kind of loopholes that exist so some employers don't have to pay holiday pay so fearing a sense of prospective is needed (eg. if ever needing the likes of a reference, after all it gets said so much on other threads)...
Don't mind me I'm really just back of the pub...0 -

Nope, employed as full-time Front of House, it was just a 0-hour contract, but if I look at the last 12 weeks paychecks I have it averages at about 40-41 hours per week. Was there for 14 months.0 -
Should I email? Or just written letter.
I feel like email is a lot more amicable than a letter.
But then again should I really care? I'm not going to be a patron and myself and the manager had a mutual disliking anyway.0 -
Physical letter, sent with a proof of posting from the post office :-)#KiamaHouse0

I sent it recorded tracked, so it got there today. T-minus 7 days, guys, but I really hope I will just receive a cheque in the mail.
I basically wrote word-for-word the advised letter on the previous page, though I should have asked for their calculation - if they pay me £1,414 when I may be entitled to more, then I'm the fool here. Though I suppose it's better than nothing.0 -
Actually, it shows as being delivered to the recipient (Ryan) on Saturday, so I have until this Saturday to get a reply.0

It will be a week tomorrow. If they don't reply to me at that point?...0
