amongst all these complicated threads.....

But, when posting, how do I get an icon to appear at the end of a sentence? When I try to add an icon it always goes to the title......

like this one has.......

You are using the wrong "Smilies".
Don't use the ones below your message. There is a white smily above the message along with fo;)nts etc. Click the arrow at the side of it to see either 15 smilies and a link to show you a total of 36.

I just type in : ) for a smiley
: ( for sad face
; ) for wink
: D for bigger smile
(without spaces)
I think opera and mozilla dont show the page the same way as Ive never seen an option for fonts or smileys.

I'm using Firefox and I can assure you they are there. Click the "Post Reply" button and look just above the message box in the beigey coloured area.

Dunno why mine doesnt have it??
Im on opera at the moment as im on the linux machine today.
But I did find out how to see them just now, if I scroll down to the bottom of the page there is a little box which says Posting rules
and underneath there is a link with smilies are on which opens a page of smileys when I click it.

are you in 'enhanced interface' if so your smileys should be above your reply box and lots of other gadgetty buttons too:D

I can't find my smilies either. I have post icons at the bottom of the text which appear in the title.

Also don't have any other gadgety buttons or font or posting rules or white smiley.
