How to Enter
3. To take part in this Competition, go to https://www.createyournewfavourite.com and follow the steps to submit your new pizza topping. Entries will be judged against the criteria set out in clause 13. Entries which fall within the scope of clause 14 will be disqualified without being judged.

Competition Dates
5. The Competition is open for submissions between 11:00am on Tuesday 24 March 2015 and
midnight on Saturday 30 May 2015 inclusive (“Competition Period”).
6. In the first instance, the winner will be notified via the email or contact details provided when entering the competition. The provisional winner will be contacted on or before Tuesday 30 June 2015 using the details as supplied on entry to the competition. The provisional winner must respond within 14 days of the date of contact otherwise the provisional winner will be disqualified and the reserve winner will be contacted.

7. By entering the Competition, Entrants grant the Promoter a royalty-free non-exclusive licence to use their entries in any publicity materials without additional remuneration during and after the Competition.

Prize Details
8. Holiday details: The winner will win a two-night trip for two to the Amalfi Coast, consisting of: return economy flights from London to the Amalfi Coast, return transfers from the airport to the
hotel, two nights’ stay in a 5-star hotel (double or twin room, breakfast included), £150 spending money, and travel insurance. The trip must be taken before and including 31 July 2016, and is subject to exclusion dates for inbound and outbound flights and the guest must be over the age of 18 years old. The winner is responsible for UK transfers.

9. £10,000 Cash: The payment will be made by BACS payment into the winner’s bank account within
one month of the winner claiming their prize.

10. Dish to appear on menu: The PizzaExpress team will use the winning entry as inspiration for a new pizza recipe which will be introduced onto the main menu (in selected restaurants) before July 2016 and referred to as inspired by the entry supplied by the winner. The dish will then appear on the menu until the next menu refresh (usually twice yearly but could be sooner).

11. One portion of free Dough Balls “PizzaExpress” (when main course purchased) for every entry submitted on or before 28 May 2015(“Reward”): Every Entrant will receive an email code for a portion of free Dough Balls “PizzaExpress” which will be sent to the email address supplied on the entry into the competition. The Reward may only be redeemed at PizzaExpress Restaurants, on purchase of an adult-size main course, Mondays – Thursdays or after 5pm on Sundays, and must be redeemed before the close of business on 28 June 2015. The reward is redeemed by showing the restaurant staff your email code at the time of ordering your main course and Dough Balls (excluding Doppio and Formaggi). Your code can also be used on takeaway orders, but takeaway set menus are not included in this offer. This offer is not available via our online Click & Collect service.

13. Judging: The Competition winner will be selected by the Promoter’s qualified judging panel which will include at least one independent judge. The name of the judge will be available from 24 March until 31 July 2015 by emailing createyournewfavourite@mail.pizzaexpress.com with “Create Your New Favourite" in the subject line. The Judges' decision regarding the winning entry is final and binding in all respects on all competition Entrants and no correspondence will be entered into. All entries received before the end of the Competition Period will be judged according to the following criteria, and the winner will be the entry that scores the highest in total over all the categories. In
the event a provisional winner is not eligible or fails to claim their prize in time, the second-highest scoring entry will become the provisional winner. Judging criteria are:
a. The recipe must be a new recipe for the PizzaExpress menu and must be in keeping with the
PizzaExpress style;
b. Good use of ingredients that are natural partners or complementary flavours;
c. Good link between the name of the pizza and the ingredients; and
d. The inspiration behind the Entrant's pizza in the “free text” section will be part of the judging criteria.

14. Disqualification: Entries which include:
a. any reference to inappropriate or excessive drinking;
b. defamatory, malicious, indecent or other inappropriate content;
c. a representation of a danger to health and safety;
d. reference to drugs or drug culture;
e. reference to brands other than those of the Promoter;
f. trademarks, logos or copyrighted material not owned by you or used without the right holder’s prior written permission (including famous names, company names etc.); or
g. include the names of any individual without their express permission will be disqualified before judging.
