TNC Parking Services

I've been working in an area in Edinburgh where it is residents parking and there is signs up needing to display a permit, this is ran by P4 parking. There was no spaces elsewhere so I ended up parking in this residents parking area and came back to a "Parking Charge Notice" on my car. Through advice from people at work I ignored the notice and now I have received a letter through the door from TNC Parking Services. They are claiming if the money owed is not paid withint 28 days additional fees will be added to the existing amount owed. I was looking for some advice on whether this should be ignored also or if it should just be paid?
Thanks
Thanks

yes , do not contact them in any way , you are in scootland there is no POFA , unless you name the driver they are !!!!!!ed , they can only take you to court if they know the drivers name
CEL are in court tomorrow morning on 11 counts of telling porky pies and worrying the locals ,
check out the scootish express tomorrow ,
edit: are there any mentions of POFA or popla on either the paperwork from P4 or TNC ?
if there is mention , they are being naughty , and are going to be picking soap up soon.
please say yes0 -
They have my name but they don't know that it was me driving, does this matter?0
-
depends if you are in scotland (where POFA 2012 does not apply) - or in England
read post #4 of the NEWBIES sticky thread about debt collectors, who should be ignored anyway
thay can add ten grand to the bill if they wish, doesnt make it enforceable under the law
they can tell you the moon is made of chocolate, doesnt make it true0 -

they have bought your details from the DVLA.
please elaborate:
the address your car is registered at
your home country (place of permanent residence)
I can see fun here , forwarding mail to your scotish address (then back to you in England)0 -
My home country is Scotland and my car is registered under a Scottish address also0
-
ok , sit tight , was there any mention of POFA or POPLA?0
-
So you ignore (well, file away) everything except an actual court claim (which you wont get).
Just search (Ctrl+F) the NEWBIES sticky thread for Scotland.0 -
No mention of any of them in the letter at all0
-
ok , we will let them off jail time (for now) follow everyone's advice sit back
DO NOT be tempted to write , if they phone you tell them to sod off ,
oh , by the way , don't get in communication with them0
