Hello. Hope you can help.
My son has leukaemia and has been given some money that we would like to invest for him. Due to his illness being life threatening we do not want his savings locked away until he is 18 as we hope to take him on a special holiday when his treatment has finished. At the moment the money is being stored in our account. Could anyone offer us any advice on the best way to save his money? Thank you.

The money has been given to your child by a well wisher and should be held in an account in his name.
If you want easy access, there are some accounts which will pay around 3% - don't forget R85.
