Best and Cheapest way to get Divorced

Hi there, my 'Wife' and I have now been separated for 2.5 years and are looking at getting divorced. I live in the house we had bought together and she has moved out as I gave her some money to move on. We are strangely enough extremely amicable about everything. We each have our 2 children on a week on week off basis. She wants nothing from me at all and vice versa, other than a divorce. we would need no Solicitors just literally a clean divorce. HOW? and how mch do they cost.. I've done some research and it states County Court, paperwork, £350 all in.. is this correct and would we be entitled to any help towards cost on low wage/ benefits etc? thanks

Have a look at Wikivorce
With regard to benefits, this may (or may not) help...

It's very easy, you'll need to fill out a court fee remission form to see what you'll have to pay. If it's amicable then it may be worth the person on the lower income filing for the divorce as they will be more likely to pay less/no fee at all.

Not to do with the divorce but if you each claim Child Benefit for one child, you may both be entitled to extra benefits, depending on your income.
So good to hear of parents handling a break-up amicably. The children will be a lot better off if you can keep things that way.0
