Just checked current account online and payment for a week-long directory delivery job I did at end of March came in overnight. Didn't expect it this quick so am well pleased:j
That's £123.68 to add to April total, but sadly it's the last of my casual delivery jobs for the year unless I do Yellow Pages again in the summer. Every year I say 'never again' about YP as I get very rural routes that aren't really cost-effective as regards time and petrol (they only reimburse a fraction of what is used, I'm sure they work out mileage 'as the crow flies' rather than 'real' roads and lanes:mad:). Will decide about that nearer the time but my money-situation being what it is :oI'll probably bite the bullet yet again and do it.
Have a good money-making weekend, everyone:beer:. No car boot/table top sales in the offing for me this weekend so may start listing on eBay again. Haven't sold any books on Amazon for weeks:( so must check that all's well with my listings.0 -

you're very quiet Lynne, how are you feeling? Is your foot sore?
It's absolutely ******* and so frustrating that I can't do anything  Still it could be worse. As my gran always said - 'I cried because I had no shoes until I saw a man who had no feet'.
I'm reading a book about women facing the big C and it all kinds of puts it into perspective doesn't it.
I'll bounce - I always do
Hope everything good with you as we don't seem to hear much from you atm ? Not heard from Fairy recently either ?
Take care

I'm struggling with things, and while still making money here and there, not keeping a record so will need to go through all my payments, paypal, ebay etc and work out how much I have made.
DS has been off school on holidays for last 2 weeks so been busy keeping him entertained for as cheaply as possible. Did really well until today when blew money on food and drink at cinema and dinner for us both as it was late.my food was horrible and I regret buying it and DS was too tired to eat much.
I keep reading to see how everyone is doing but am struggling to post as staying up late making extra cash as need it. Applied for some jobs today, hence why we went out late and late for dinner, etc. Fingers crossed might start getting some interviews.0 -

This month is going well. I've picked up a £50 discount voucher for an online chemist (an extra work thing) so have made an order for bulk buys of shampoo, shower gels, toothpaste, conditioner, some razors, new toothbrushes and more. It'll actually save me over £80 but I'm putting £50 into the challenge as that's the face value and will transfer the £50 to savings.MSE-ing since 20070
