advice on car insurance with a learner diver included

hi i am trying to get car insurance with OH with me on as a learner driver. but been to three sites and they cant do it ansd it would cost over a £100 with the insurance company with we with know. I AM WELL OVER 21 SO NOT A YOUND DRIVER

I would imagine the £100-odd that your current company want to charge will be because you are an additional driver, and not just because of your provisional licence? They may be giving your partner a discount for the driving restriction being 'policyholder only'? Sorry I can't be of more help, but keep looking as different insurers have different policies about learner drivers - and if you are over 25 I wouldn't have thought it would make much difference to the cost actually, usually just an increased excess to pay in the event of a claim.
