Additional Premium Bonds - how long?

Hi

I currently hold some bonds and am registered online with NS&I.

If I wish to purchase more bonds online, how long does it usually take to process the application and issue bonds?

Would I be in time for them to be included in the calendar month of April - for the draw taking place in May?

If you buy them online (that will be your date of investment for the new PB's) either today or before midnight tomorrow, you will have to hold them for one month (in your case April) and yes the first prize draw they will be eligible for is in May.

When I want to buy some I do it online on the last day of the month using my debit card - you get a receipt at the end of the transaction similar to this:

Your payment reference: D5H01ZY6A00A00BY - Date of investment: 22:56. 31 JAN 2015

Or you could just call them Freephone on 0500 007007 if you prefer the security of talking to somebody. It works exactly the same way. Just have your holders number and password handy. They'll send a receipt in the post confirming your purchase.
