Maxtop Quartz worktop

Hi,
I'm considering a Quartz worktop and wonder is anyone familiar with this product and can recommend or not?
Any other advice most welcome.
I'm based 20 miles west of Glasgow if that narrows down any suppliers etc. There is a local supplier who charges £1100 for 2 worktops 2.4 metres with 1 or 2 joins and 2 cut outs for sink & hob. Is that reasonable?
Cheers

I was talked out of this type of product by my kitchen supplier (maybe because there's not much profit in it). Can you have sink cut outs in this form of construction? I went for solid quartz (Caesarstone) which has lasted 10 years with no problems. I can't help with current prices.
Quick edit, yes you can have cut outs but not with edge showing I assume? That is it's alright with a ss sink dropped in but not a Belfast set below.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0 -
There is a video which shows you can have the undermount sink which I much prefer. It seems that because it is hollow filled that anyone who fits worktops can do this type. I'm not convinced though so thought I'd seek some advice.
I'll see if I can post the video.
Cheers for your help.
