I guess you'll just have to wait and see.

You've paid late, but you've paid before your next statement date.

My Very payment is due on a Monday and my statement is produced the follow Saturday.

I don't know how strict they are about applying payments to an account between those dates.

As I've mentioned elsewhere, if owe £0.01 and you're one day late in paying, they - including Very - will hit you with a late payment marker.

Very is a particularly aggressive company when it comes to credit reporting (see many other threads about them) they subscribe to the lie that a late payment marker represents "the truth" so they must report it and can't remove it.

I'd watch them very carefully, and ideally don't do business with them; close your account, if possible.

I paid my very account nearly a week late once and it wasn't reported to the CRAs.

A single late payment marker does not ruin a credit history.

Repeated ones do (and quite rightly probably) A single one does not.

I made a late payment to Very (1 or 2 days late). I was charged £12 late payment fee when I looked at my next statement. No late payment marker was ever added to my credit files.
