The fees on Amazon are comparable to Ebay. You may even be better looking at Fulfillment by Amazon where you ship items to Amazon and they send them out for you. This would help with a new account and it may possibly work out cheaper than you sending them yourself.dannyboy20 wrote: »I don't know what to do for him now, it's my fault I guess, id try and help him sell on amazon but I read the fees and process is just not worth it.
You could also try Tictail, it's free to set up as many items as you wish. You'll need to drive your own traffic to it, either by social media or paid for advertising.
As for selling on Ebay, the best option is to try and sort out the account that was restricted, messing with other accounts would only cause more problems..0 -
There may well be a VERO issue. 'Original Penguin' is a clothing brand that also sell watches.

Maybe you could diversify to smaller cheaper generic watch related items like batteries and straps. That way although each sale wouldn't be too high value you may sell lots of items, that are easy to post so build up feedback quickly. Then have another go at the watches without mentioning trade names or showing logos at a later date. Assuming Ebay will still allow you to sell on this account.0 -
Thank you for the replies everyone. I'm not too sure about the VERO issue, I believe you get a message from eBay telling you a listing was removed due to it.
What I don't get, there are a number of sellers on there selling exactly the same brands, not just Original Penguin, as what my dad sells. There is even one on there who no doubt has them from the same supplier, who has only just started and has only 23 feedback. So why haven't they flagged him up too?0 -
Sadly, with Ebay you can't rely on "someone else is doing it", the chances are the other seller hasn't been flagged yet and will be soon. If it is a Vero issue, he could have pre registered and be allowed to sell it.dannyboy20 wrote: »Thank you for the replies everyone.
