Praise: MSE, VAX and YODEL!

I have to thank MSE - I had been looking online for a carpet shampooer and the one I really wanted (based on the best reviews) was the VAX Ultra at £399 - then I took a look at the sale notice on the forum and found it for £139 + pp. ordered it Wednesday morning and it was delivered by YODEL at 1.50pm Friday afternoon!
I know this is sounding like an Oscar acceptance speech,lol, but I really would like to thank them sincerely!
(PS. cleaned the carpets today and the machine performs beautifully - carpets look like they have been cleaned professionally).

We bought a VAX upright vacuum in their sale a year or so ago, on delivery I found that a plastic connector that connects the hose to the beater bar was not gripping properly. Vax attempted to replace the part, but sent the wrong piece. Next, they had me download a form, attach the sticker from the vacuum to it and post it to them - a couple of days later a replacement vacuum arrived - and a better model at that! When I asked about returning the faulty one to them, they said it was mine to do whatever I liked with - some Araldite later, guess what?? My wife now has a vacuum upstairs as well as downstairs so no longer has to hump one up and down the stairs!

I also have nothing but praise for VAX!!

Well I'm not very happy with Vax so far! Ordered a Vax Floor2Floor in the sale, assembled it today and it will not switch on! Have even tried it in different plugs around the house but nothing.

The sellotape on the box was rather dirty which makes me think it isn't brand new, I suspect it was already used, returned and then repackaged (badly).

I'm phoning them in the morning to complain.
