What rights do I have with electrical goods

Bush UDI809 Handheld Vacuum Cleaner.
I have phoned the store Argos got nowhere, wrote to the head honcho at Argos still no joy.

The story, I purchased two of the above, both are working, problem is the filters. I have searched the web no one does them.

Argos say purchase a universal filter, again no one sells them. The head honcho at Argos whilst sympathetic said purchase a universal filter.

The real irony of this saga is Argos OWNS BUSH yet they claim not to sell spares for the product.

So do I have the right under the Sale of Goods Act to for them to replace the product as the filters are beyond use making the product itself useless, hence not fit for purpose. :mad: :mad:.

As I said Bush is owned by Argos. I could not find an address for bush, that's how I found out it was part of the Argos group.

Most filters on hand held vacs are just fine foam . Can you post a pic of one then we know what we are looking for ?

Although it doesn't solve your problem Bush is not owned by Argos. They are both owned by the Home Retail Group which isn't the same thing.

Nice find Peter ! I searched but couldn't find one . Semi conical paper or fibre mesh filter. Height and diameter at both ends would help in finding a compatible one OP !
