Kiddicare - would never use again

Hi all,
Just wanted to highlight an atrocious experience with Kiddicare. Having purchased a product with a giftcard and unfortunately lost the receipt, I find the baby toy has splinters on it, paint chips with one use. I email them to complain, and after MUCH to-ing and fro-ing, having emailed pictures, they now want me to wait in for a delivery guy to pick it up. If their assessment is different to mine as to the poor quality, they'll charge me £20 for this. The toy's only worth £12 RRP. Whilst I fully appreciate I don't have the receipt, they have traced the transaction so can prove I bought it from them.
I've never come across such atrocious service. To add to this, I posted a review of the product on their website - which they won't put up.
Terrible!

Is there any reason you couldn't post it to them?0

Try posting your review to somewhere that they don't own, such as Trustpilot, Feefo, Dooyoo - these sites won't remove your review unless it fails certain criteria.0

I stopped using Kiddicare since they closed all the stores. So much hassle trying to return stuff now when it was so easy to order online, perhaps more than I wanted to see what was nice and then have the option to return at the store. I've unsubscribed from their mailing list and focus on Amazon prime, often cheaper and much better customer service. Took me 2 months to get a refund of something that they said they had done which they didn't.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0
