Thanks FC, yes my toilet stash certainly made me a talking point!
The men were laughing at how happy I was, they don't usually get so much enthusiasm. :rotfl:
They have done an amazing job and I would definitely use them again, they were perfectionists themselves. I must admit it wasn't :money: at all.But I don't care I have waited a long time for this day.
It just helped the conversations through some difficult times :A
Some things are worth paying for and anything that makes you happy definately is....whatever it might be. Happiness doesn't have a price
Just enjoy! you've waited long enough!0 -

No....just me:rotfl::rotfl:
I'm joking! You were missed greatly and it was mentioned quite a few times that you weren't around.
This place just isn't the same without you. Yes it's easier readingbut not the same at all. Happy new battery

Nothing on dispatch note thing about changing in store but will be near one at weekend so will give it a try.
Thanks
Sorry not really caught up properly again so jumped back in at this mornings posts. No cereal bars for me as really need to run down supplies as want to move house this summer plus doing the c9 detox so less temptation the better.
Don't worry not bought the expensive detox sil found out the exact contents and sourced at a lot less. Can't say I am enjoying it yet but just finished day 2 so can have some real food tomorrow rather than just green salad berries and apples.
Body is enjoying the detox though:T
For flo flos info only doing it as have a really lovely date night at end of the month. Just as well as have huge stock of false eyelashes to use up.:rotfl:

I must get to bed. DS2 has been getting up in the night for reasons unknown
and I have a busy day tomorrow. Sleep deprivation isn't pretty

If I waffle on long enough, surely it's time to check some receipts now:eek:!
Whoops!:rotfl: Got nearly my whole shopping bill back! I didn't realise the deal was that good:D... blame me for limited time to get anywhere near back up to speed today.
And it looks really obvious to me, as original spend is too easy to see, but then again I suspect it's only obvious to me. Better go carefully next time. I played a risky eight, this is a little like Countdown, and I also "won" on the Fig Rolls! I suppose...I might say, just as well as I got caught by those pies last time!

I don't know if I could have picked up a Krispies Squares Caramel & Chocolate, in addition to the 3 for £3 I bought, as showing 98p on SEL in my store - only one that had showing the £1.9 and 3 for £3 SEL was the Marshmallows one - hoping the Caramel & Chocolate would have gone through at £1.98 if they are now supposed to be on the 3 for £3 - store may have had old SEL on there and a GC possibly up for grabs - but I couldn't be bothered for it this time. If I had gone for this, I would have paid £1.98 more in the first place - would have missed the mbuy deliberately and bought one in excess of it as hopefully reset to 98p (what SEL said) and then GC. But, I'm happy with what I've got - can't be too displeased there!0 -

TS, I'm trying to get quotes for a complete bathroom refurb at the moment and I'm tearing my hair out literally..so many different quotes and options and the amount of bullxxxx I'm having to listen to is killing me. Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated and-this is rude I know so feel free not to answer (or pm me) what kind of money did you have to part with for yours ? I am really a complete novice at all this and the builders etc appear to know it, looks lovely so any help, I'd be forever grateful xx
We sourced the shower from Argos of all places £170, I can recommend Victoria Plumb which we bought all the sanitary ware and towel radiator from for about £900, taps were from a different source as we have low pressure for just over £100. Mirror was £80ish from local glass place.
I know an electrician so he supplied the lights and extractor fan and ducting and we were starting afresh there as all the wiring had been removed previously. His costs also included separate fuse box where mains are downstairs for the shower and had to be brought up through the bedroom floor, that was a lot of work.
We had to have all the walls dry lined and ceiling was skimmed after lining. Floor was lined with plyboard and shower former put in before a specialist laid the altro flooring and that's not cheap stuff. Shower screen and lots of the behind the scenes fittings were included in builder's costs too.
This wasn't a budget renovation in my eyes but they do say when I researched online can cost up to £10,000 to do a bathroom. Ours did come in less then that, I will PM you. This was not a big room really long and narrow as you can see, I have probably paid over the odds but no corners were cut.0
