Hmm, interesting:). Led to another dead-end though didn't it?
Yes I am well. Not sure about the battery though - laptop still seems to be getting a bit hot. Perhaps not as hot as it was before, I don't know. Maybe it was always that way and I only noticed the other week! Also, although it said drain to 2% battery then charge to 100%, I couldn't go to 2% as the laptop switched off after 5%. Also the battery only went up to 80% and then stopped charging. I changed the power plan - still the same. I don't understand these things:rotfl:. I managed to press something that changed the task bar to a weird colour:eek::eek:. Still don't know what I did, now reset it manually to the previous colour (by searching of course for "color":() but never sure if something in the background has subtly changed. The old battery only ever went up to 80% and was fine. Except that, a couple of weeks ago, suddenly, on a single occasion and never before (since new anyway) or since, it went to 100% by some fluke.
It seems to be okay. Maybe just leave it and only worry at the moment the house is ablaze.
It's been suggested tonight maybe I should get a new laptop, but that rather defeats the point. At least I have old battery that will give another 3 hours and then can be disposed of. And this new one did seem to get to 80% without unduly overheating.
I could have been concerned unnecessarily - for example, someone that has a centuries old cottage that has cracks down the walls, was bought like that and they had a survey that found it to be perfectly safe, they say on the internet elsewhere that sometimes they look at a wall and see a crack and get concerned... then they remember, somewhat later, that that crack was always there. So, possibly, it's same with me and my laptop. Trouble is I don't know (I'm not sure).0 -

You started me off there - or I've done it anyway - as what's confused me is that that implies there are four letters missing. Yet I can't (immediately) think of what would fit. I even thought of colonitis of all things and, then, I'm afraid even went down to a much more offensive thing that I cannot repeat, or even describe. But neither fits. Or, as I suspect, did you mean two letters missing?:D:rotfl: Sorry folks - back to M list I think! It's a game of hangman/crossword puzzles!:rotfl::rotfl: Perhaps I'll get back to the list after I've spent two hours pondering over what it is lol!:rotfl: Something in your kitchen? Clocks? But it doesn't have the "L"! You have lost me there:rotfl:!
Sorry I know this 'obsession' annoys some people, so skip the post if so!
EDIT: Cookers? Cookers!:D:D:idea::T:T:) Thank [heavens] for that!:rotfl:
I'll bill you for wasting my time later!:rotfl: If "cookers" had just been written, then would never have spent all that time and energy! And, now, you're wasting time reading all this:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
I dont know why that word was like that, i'll type it again see what happens lol coconuts if its not there i am referring to the white stuff found it bounty bars...but fresh ones in hard brown hairy shells lol0 -
