ref notsofatscotchman and tweets well done on your diets.

ive not commented before as ive been on a little diet myself. im not too overweight anyway but now im old I struggle to keep the weight down.
I had put on 3/4 of a stone over my last 2 cruises.

so I wanted to get back to my target weight before I went on another. (cruisers will know what im on about)
but today I have achieved my target loss of 3/4 of a stone which took me 10 weeks. :o but I done it without giving up my Friday night session down the pub. :o:)
but I have been trumped by mrs zippy as she lost a stone in the same time.
it does help loads when your both being careful.
reading the achievements of the 2 elites I mentioned above also inspired me on.

Well done Mr and Mrs zippy:)

It's so much easier when you are both doing it and supporting each other.
rather than one -usually me saying no more crisps/chocolate/wine (after 8pm which is my worst time for nibbling) whilst Mr monkeys eats them at the other end of the sofa:(

Right I really am going now, mini list prepared

The minimum term is 3 years for the insurance. I don't think its too bad, £5 a month and we all need some life cover, should cover the funeral anyway :D.

Other hot drinks are available but Nero hot chocolate is to die for.

Have you been able to register your account straight away?

I downloaded the app onto the iphone and tried to register but it would not accept my policy number. The chap said to try again tomorrow after the over night update of the system.
I just tried on the app, but it said can't match details so will try again tomorrow.
I don't really need the insurance, as I already have some, but will see if the paperwork says anything about cancelling when it arrives.

I always have hot choc @ Nero, best i've ever had!

Morning luvlies, didn't get back until late last night after being out most of the day yesterday. Thanks to EmmaP for mentioning last year about SRO Audiences. I initially applied for, and received tickets to, John Bishop Xmas spesh and we queued for 2 hours but didn't get in. However, when we were turned away in the queue they took email adds and we were given priority bookings for next time.

I kept an eye on the emails they sent through and decided to go for Sunday Night at the London Palladium :T. We had the best time and our host was the fab Alexander Armstrong (Pointless). We had great seats (4 rows back) and loved it. It's going out in May so looking forward to watching it back. Won't mention the guests as don't want to spoil it for anyone. So thanks EmmaP for mentioning it last year :D

If peeps are thinking of applying for tickets, my tip is to go along a couple of hours earlier than the time stated on the email you receive if you're lucky enough to receive tickets, and be prepared to queue. Ok if like yesterday the weather was warm and you take a snack and a drink to keep you going.

Here's a Linky to their site

    http://www.sroaudiences.com/

Thank you for the tip hampy, I have been lucky to get tickets for this Sunday :j
Can't wait, will get there early like you said as travelling up and don't want t be turned away!!

    Afternoon everyone.

What a beautiful day it is.

Just been offered my old job back, left at the christmas holidays, and the lady that took my job has quit, and they rang me straight away and pleeded with me to go back.
