The system is on the same server, same ip address but its the cookie that is telling it to view the new site (from the tech guy at work) The new system and the old system run different databases apparently which also includes separate database, which is why you get 2 different results.


Looking into this a little deeper it seems that the new site checks asda.com and maybe MSM at the same time. I put in some old receipts into the new system and it has picked up some interesting results. One receipt that worked ok for the old site then didn't work for the new one. it didn't have 8 items but most of them were SP items.


I think that someone was testing the new system and allowed some people to view it and then once they had finished testing it changed it back. So that's why we no longer see the new site. its coming.. we just don't know when.
