I just had a reminder go off on my phone that the Disney DVD BOGOF ends today.

Let's hope they don't extend it :money:

hope the new hens start laying quickly fc, is your white star a bit scatty, we got a few and they are totally scatty. a friend who keeps them said hers are to,
have just washed and boxed 120 eggs to go out tomorrow, :)

She's not really showed her personality yet :D but ones I've had previously are. I had one whose wings I had to clip because she kept escaping over the fence. I do miss lovely white eggs.
My other chickens should be ashamed of themselves, I've been getting 1 egg a day out of 4 of them  They're all healthy and happy enough.......just not laying. I've had to pay the window cleaner in real money the last 3 times, it's not on :D :rotfl:

Both my two have done a lifeguarding course this week mhoc. Am a bit hack off as it was supposed to be Tuesday - Saturday 9-5 each day with the exam on Saturday afternoon. However, the pool was somehow double booked on Saturday, so there is no replacement for the Saturday hours, and exam was rearranged for today (which DS can't do as he is working and already booked the week off for the course) or tomorrow, which my two are going to do with one other.

If they pass then great, I won't say anything. However, if they fail, I will be having words, as I will not be expecting to pay for another exam after they have effectively missed a day of training due to the pool being double booked. Fingers crossed it all goes well and I wont have to start complaining. :o

Yes son has had his course times changed as well to just the week - he was also doing the exam bit on Saturday. We had an email but it didn't make a lot of sense but the exam will now be on Friday. I am not sure how this is going to work because they are supposed to have a volunteer for the exam - this would have been fine on Saturday as he could have roped in big brother. Friday will be impossible - big brother unlikely to get time off work and anyway he is 90 mins away.

But I imagine everyone will be in the same boat and they will all be the volunteer for everyone else.

Like you I am hoping that he does pass as it would be a nightmare to re organise. He has also had time off work which again has taken months to organise.

Work has paid for every other course except this one so I've paid for it for him. As usual he refused point blank to accept any money - very independant and stubborn. So for his birthday I put money into his savings account to cover the course and his van service

I am also worried that his swimming is up to standard. He says his swimming is fine as they do jog and dip every week. He is an outdoor sport instructor and they start each course on a Monday with everyone Leaping into Ullswater :)

Don't know about your Ts but the ones around here don't have bogof stickers on the dvds anymore, just showing the offer on the sels, making it easier to remove :(

My two are really quite unfit, especially swimming wise, and they are making the timed swim, so I'm sure your fit son will! :)

There is also going to be a problem with this one for bodies, not really sure how they're going to work it. DS and DD normally body for each other, so will have to go one after the other in the exam I suppose, and one of them will body twice for the other chap. DD did ask a friend who did the exam in Feb so knows what its about, but she can't make it. DS wanted to ask his mate, but thats also DD's boyfriend, so she didn't want him there! Oh, the complications of teenage life! :rotfl:

Oops, I have donated to the first link that was put up (1st list) and I am on the second list. Both worthy causes so I guess it doesn't matter.
Foul weather here, no chance of going the lottie to see if the snails have destroyed any more of my asparagus that has started to appear.
Thank you FC for organising the GN sweepstake.:)

    Morning

All hybrids as I'm in desperate need of good layers! A white star, a white Sussex and a very small and cute speckeldy. I tried to take a pic yesterday but they wouldn't play ball. I've seperated an area off with my stand-by coop for them. Adjacent to the existing birds so they can see them but can't get at them!! Adding new birds is not always very pleasant :o The established ones can get quite vicious. I'll give it a week or so before I let them loose.

Are you getting any eggs yet?

Well done with to those with sunshine. It's hissing down here.....and I left washing out :o

I've got a light Sussex and speckeldy :D the speckeldy is the most skittish of them all, she is the only one who runs away when you offer food :rotfl::rotfl:

No eggs yet though :( I think they're about 21-22 weeks, except the ginger one, who is probably about 18-19 weeks. Hopefully they'll start paying their rent soon :rotfl::rotfl: I'm dreading having to integrate new birds :o

Hope you can get a pic or two of them soon :)

I just generate the b/c and then save it to file for all the regular SZ staples such as Bread, Milk, Eggs, HP, Dolmios, Chicken Tonight etc.

Not sure if people know this, but you do not need to have the specific barcode to match the reciept with SZ.

EG. Eggs - xlarge/large/med - on receipt Med - you can scan any of the three and it will be paid regardless of what receipt says.
This applies to all products where different sizes/flavours are offered.

Thanks for this - I am now going to rescue yesterday's receipt from the recycling which had home pride pasta bake and kingsmill on but the wrong versions - wrong flavour and different thick/ medium bread

I just need the right barcodes numbers if anyone has them pretty please?

Excellent idea to save the regular item barcodes in a doc - will start this.
My Shopotize app has gone crackers overnight so I've had to email them.
